the *** figs are always the most sought after and hard to get figs because they are usssually played on a regular base.

it's always easier to find a Unique then 1 or 2 good *** figs.

Unfortunately, many good players are looking for these same non-unique figures (and some bad players like me;)). Trading on MKrealms>General>Neutral Ground can get you almost any of these but you have to be willing to give up good for good almost always, as there are mostly saavy traders there. Ebay is an avenue, but you have to be patient and be willing to buy the *, ** also (in sets) or purchase a 'lot' of figures keep the ones you want and sell/trade/give-away the chaff... I like that Wizkids hasn't flooded the market with a huge quantity of these tough figures. Makes it tough on my wallet, but good for my collection's value.
Ever hear the story of MTG and Wizards of the Coast's problem with over-printing of Homelands or Fallen Empires...

blue artillerist, yellow technos and yellow/blue detonating zombies are tough to get as well.

Same thing here. Talking about nons, the mounted *** are the most difficult to get, especially Nightmare Reapers, Scorpem Gunners, Heavy Lancers, War and Horned Hatchetkruggs and Impalers.

The best way to get them IMHO is on e-bay, or online stores.

or better wait for the upcoming expansion with mounts! :D

i'm experiencing troubles since whirlwind came out... i didn't get any flavor of a WHK!!!!

If you need a specific piece just buy singles. It will save you time and money. Otherwise trade for what you need.

Patience. Think Lancers was the last we'll ever see of KI mounted figs? I believe Wizkids will have some new figs that will make us (for the most part) forget about the Heavy Cavs or Sislith Bladesmen or what-have-you.

If I think about the kind of armies I played before and the kind of figures I thought were important, vs. the ones I play today... well, times change.

BTW, I don't think we'll *really* want to forget the old figs- that would piss off too many people- but we'll find some new ones that end up being in our armies and taking on the same roles that the old Lancers or Whirlwind would have. It's all good.

Just hope that this will come true, and if so, more playable maybe not as good as WW and lancers mounteds.

amotep gunners are not that hard to find really.
I mean compared to mounted figs.


in one week I was able to get 20 *** amotep gunners.
compared to only 1 fell reaper.

any idea how to purchase on ebay.......bout the pay pal thing? there is such a thing here in the philippines?

I know what you mean. Locally, the Paladin Priest is much commoner then blue or red shadows, for example :-)

And that means figures that just DO NOT APPEAR here, when someone opens boosters, not that noone wants to trade them away.
