I've read somewhere that there is a trick to find uniques in booster packs. Does anyone know this trick?

Here's one that seems to work for me:

If you hope for a unique while opening a booster, you will find a Cursed Hag instead.

No, there are no tips/techniques to better find uniques.

However, the "feeling" of the boosters worked a little in Whirlwind, but only fi you wanted a Shyft Matriarch.

In whirlwind it also worked for finding the mounted uniques, but all to often, that "half troll behemoth' turned out to be a yellow horned hatchett krug.

As for me, i used to find any crumpled/torn edges in the booster. I already got Pyre, Judge, Orc Captain and Foils with these kind of boosters. When i saw one that has it, i grab it rightaway.

In my mind I always think about the average figures and that way i'm happy with anything i get. :D The only way you could tip the scale in your favor is by weighing them with your hands. I've been succusful a couple times doing this. Bigger pieces cost more points and are usally better so they wiegh more. The reverse is true sometimes as well for really light figures like the prye spirit. So go for the heaviest or lightist. These kinda tips you either belive in or you dont. You gotta find the best way for you. Some people go as far as to care about which picture is on the box. I dont see why but whatever to each his own.

I don't know about this being a technique, but when I open up a booster I really don't expect jack. When I finally look at everything I got, I'm not at all disappointed...I suppose its just a mental thing, but I always end up happy with what I get and am extremely pleased when I get a unique

A lot of people were sucsessful with sinster buy squeezing them. Almost all of the uniques were huge and were easily detectable on the last slot. I was sick of buying dented and crumbled boosters because less considerate people whould always squeeze them. Every single booster at the nearby gamestop was demolished. Thank God minions intoduced smaller uniques which kinda eliminated the problem.

Once I tried the weighing technique. That's how I got my Centaur Medic.

The only time I'm not happy bout my picking is when i see someone who has super luck. My brother got a starter box of rebellion and a booster and he ended up with a magus drac and a arcane drac. :(

It seems that the old squeezing technique is not as efficient as it used to be :D Mind that I don't like it, and received the due punishment when I tried it (got a Troll Brawler).

I heard that people who squeeze minions boosters usually end up pulling Chimeric Worms.

A friend who carefully "chose" some booster packs has plenty of them :D

My booster pack felt a bit heavy when I pulled my Guardian Drac.

If you try to weigh Minions boosters, you'll just end up with tons of Chimeric Worms and Brass Commanders.

I would just like to say the best technique for opening boosters is to do it the Yu-Gi-Oh way. Believe in the heart of the Boosters!!

Of course you can always squeeze the boosters, peek down the back and ruin it for anyone who comes along to buy a booster. What is it with you guys? Is there a trick to get Uniques? How can I make sure to get ALL the goodies and leave #### for everyone else?

I'm truly disgusted. This is no better than those venues that open the boosters, take out the good figs and re-seal the boosters with ####.

Why not settle with taking a chance, buying random boosters and opening them.
