would it really be that bad for the EL to get this? i keep seeing people ranting NONONONONONONONO, tooooooo powerful!

but what about an 8" FM. sounds pointless at first, but it would bring some old figs back, bringing them up to speed, so to speak, and would be worth it, providing the FMer wasnt too terribly expensive. and 8" isnt enough to make them the new powerhouse.

so what do you think?

Even if I would prefer 10' force march for EL, I'd be happy to get 8'.

I'm not at all convinced a bit of forced march would make them that powerful...

Hopefully will get it one day, maybe in a Heroic Quest pack (like the BPR: I started to play that faction again in conquest when they got ShaRin (12' forced March at 5th level, 57 points).

Especially they are no EL Heroes in Pyramids:( :( :(

I see no problem with elemental or atlantis getting force march. I mean why should BPR with its slow dwarves get force march? I really do not think too much of that special ability, but it should be available to all factions.

I would personally love to see an Elemental League force march figure.

However with that figure would be a ton of crybabies out there that would complain about it. I would probably get really tired of that really fast.

On the other hand I would love to be able to kick the whiners a@@ with a Troll Artillerist formation that can force march.:D

To make everyone happy, how about a 9" forced march? Faster than normal, but not too fast.

An EL FM'er would help my beloved Troll Arties;) . The FM'er would need defend, some sort of healing, and Enhancement; that's asking too much and that mak him/her way too expen$ive point cost:( .

and EL force march ... is a good idea :) and would greatly benefit those slow trolls :( ...

Think of him as an extremely tough Troll brawler who can get trolls moving just that wee bit faster.

nemesis-actually U had a great idea.even if he was 100 points i would play him...think about it. in a 300 point game u could have 4 blue troll arties and the new figure and still have 68 points to spare. Add emerald warder for exact 300 points.

I would play it like this(T=troll aty,N=new figure,E=emerald warder,H=hindering terrain)

So that gives you a troll arty formation moving at a faster speed than...well...6. Then you get 2 of the troll arties enhanced and you can move the enhancer to fit your needs during play. Then you get the defend also so at least 2 troll arties are harder to hit .

If the 2 troll arties without defend get hit no biggy you have 2 healers(new figure can also heal and emerald warder could heal)

The emerald warder is in the hindering so cant bet hit usaully because of stealth. and it can help out if they are swarming you
