108 = Amazon Draconum

200 even
We got Ram/ML or Yo-Yo. We got 1 BIG threat, 1 medium threat (with ram, shake-off, small range and WM) and and 2 harrassers. Good speed (all @ 10"+). Great damage potential... and a healer. It would have to play offensive vs. other FATTIE 200's, and defensive vs. swarm... The Ram gun can blow out dodge on other AD armies and LI on blockers...
What are your thoughts? I see the "to many eggs in 1 basket" thing, but is there a good way to improve on this?
I think it's pretty good, prefer WHK or Mochooch personally but the Galeshi works well Autumn vulnerable at level one is the only real worry I would have.
Do something similar with Striker and it's yet to lose at a tournament.
Wouldn't use it for general play though, as you say too cheesy.
As noted, the only serious weakness here is with autumn's single slot of healing/ML. I think, that if played well, and barring any critical misses on her part, it shouldn't be a serious problem, but if you want to heal the amazon, say from a push, then she'd have an easier time of it if she were level 2.
kinda nice .. and cheesy :)
but as everybody has sed ... wouldn't it be nice
to have raised autumn to lvl2? :)
and it won't be a bad idea to have a ram warrior * :)
but this is one good cheesy army :) hehehe
i would love to try it :)
In some match ups you will pretty much have to use the AD to take on their entire army. Specifically if they are running chargers (to hurt a flung rammer) or heavy toughness. Personally I dont think thats enough.
The AD is a great figure but anytime you use 1-2 figure offense that are somewhat fragile, you are setting your self up for problems. An opposing army with 5-6 decent attackers and a healer can easily just take the hits from the AD, heaing when needed while moving in and scoring hits that are much harder for your army to recover from.
i'd highly suggest switching to one of the war kruggs. sure, maybe the galeshi will do as much, or more damage, but, with a * one, good luck actually hitting them.
WOW! Thanks for the great feedback. Ideally, I would have used a War Krugg (thanks anyway Orc Mage and skithee), but I don't even have one... nor do I have an pyramids, yet... (no ram warrior either, iD100o and runab0ut)
Some excellent points have been made:
1.) Autumn being vulnerable is a big concern. But, I fear not, Ram guns are rare in my area. Lucky me..? However, Charles Goodroe, you have made a great point about the crits... that completely slipped my mind...
2.) bshugg, Chargers are a concern... as I mentioned, ramm is not used much here, but charge is! Even an extra level for Autumn won't save her from that kinda pain... I just hope knowone goes heavy on charges, as you mentioned...
3.) I wll agree with you all, some ram proofing would be smart... even if it is not heavily use. Besides, shak-off, venom, AND critical misses can all do the same damage as ram... I guess I will have to sqeeze Autumn up an level.
4.) Any suggestions for sqeeze an extra 8 points to get Autumn to the next level... dropping a shade only frees-up 12 points, 8 of which are going back into Autumn to reach level 2... That leaves me 4 extra points to work with. If I TRY to bump the Galeshi up to a ** version, I exceed the build total be 1 point! Good try though, SupaM0J0... but it didn't quite work... skithee, you do have a good point about the poor attack of the * GRC...
suggestion: drop one * shade, upgrade autumn to lvl 2, replace * shade with ** shade or * mancatcher.
only other thing i can think of it
edit: wow, guess who forgot how many points lvl 2 autumn is? and guess who managed to overlook the fact that one *** mancatcher = two * shades... more sleep, less work. let's fix this.
pre- or post-poor memory, i don't like this one as much... not a fan of the minotaur mage, and the imp is really more short-term threat, and doesn't even pose much of one at all when it can easily be rammed into uselessness, or gib after one hit.
