Is it just me, or are some people just stuck with bad luck? It's like some kind of disease! In a tournyment a while ago not long after dungeons came out I used a gate lord and pushed to attack and rolled a critical miss to knock it out of invulribility. THREE TIMES!!! Another part of this odd curse is dodge. Your oppenent always seems to succesfully dodge and you always get stuck having the guy with the bad aim or the slow mind.

Does anyone else seem to have this disease?

I remember before conquest came out we played a team game of 1000 points per player with two pairs playing. I think I managed a single successful attack roll for the whole game

Yeah, when bad luck comes, it tends to arrive in streaks. Fortunately, you usually get it out of your system after a game or two.

My Hill Giant was torn apart by stalking skeletons. STALKING SKELETONS!!!! I tried to attack them (there were two of them) five times. I missed all of the times because of dodge.:mad:

I have also bad luck strikes, i missed to capture a Techun with a formation of 3-4 mancatchers!!!Also i had 6 bbosters with no uniques!!!All in one week!

Funny thing about luck... Most people tend to remember the "bad" luck that happens to them, but forget about the "good" luck. I've gone through stretches where the dice haven't been with me. I had one tournament go so bad that I bought new dice in the middle of a game. But the bad is, over time, counter-balanced by the good. For example, a few weeks ago in a conquest game, I got an 11 exactly when I needed it, as well as a few 9's and 10's. That's my $.02.

At the time it seemed bad but reading about some of your luck makes not look so bad. I missed the first 5 attacks of a tournament game. Twice Amazon Draconum missing Pyre Spirit. I won but geeez it would have been so much easier instead my hands were shaking from being nervous. Hey zort15 what about the time you needed a 5 to win a tournament conquest game? Just in case you don't reply, what happened was that he needed a 5 to mame a HOST to prevent it from destroying a castle. I really hate it when a game comes down to hit(win) or miss(lose).

I can never get a good weapon master roll when I use a Bladesmith Draconum.

In tournaments, I have the absolute worst luck. All of the conquest tournaments I've played in I've lost terribly. And it's not for a lack of a decent army. One game I managed to kill a * Imp... that's it.

Dice are evil... period. They do not like me.

Bad luck does not happen in stretches for me. Unless you want to consider that my bad luck stretch has been going on for well over 30 years now.

i missed 7 of 9 breakaway rolls at a tournament with my mountain king... this usually wouldn't be so awful, but we were playing a scenario where the objective had to do with you commander...
