when you walk through your venue, what do you think as you look at the boosters? i generally see WW, UL, and Minions, i often go straight to minions due to appealing colors, so i am asking, does the coloring of boosters affect how well it sells? lets think...lancers, bright, sold out soon, sinsiter, bold with white, sold out really fast, minions light orangish brown, sold out fast...then look....WW, dull coloring...took a long time, Dungeons...dull colors, still around, UL dull colors, still around, so do you think that color trends affect sales? is is not only the peices but the appealing to other senses?

Well said brudda!! It wierd cause I never really thought of it before, but I like all of the "Bright" sets and the "dull" sets I dont really care too much for. Even teh figs in teh set dont really apeal to me that much.....odd.....odd indeed....

No, i don't think so. Personnaly, at my venue, some lancers are left so i sort of always buy lancers or whirlwind... :)

Ive bought most my boosters online heh, so the box never realy matters to me

i tend to buy at least one booster per release...where i am we still have rebellion boosters

If I were new to the game, I would be drawn to the Minions booster because of the appealing colors, and might even select that one over the others because of that. Now, of course, I am familiar with all of the boosters, but nevertheless, when I see them on the shelf, my eye naturally goes to the Minions booster first.

I think it depends on how much you spend on boosters overall. If you have a low budget you would buy boosters of expansions where you desperately want a special unique or non, disregarding the colors of the boosters. If you already have enough of everything and just want to buy two or three boosters for the thrill of ripping them open, you might be attracted to a special color and/or design you like.

Well, this is an interesting little theory you have. I know that casinos and the like use a lot of bright colors to attract people. It would'nt suprise me if something similar is at work here.

On a side note, I usually buy boosters from sets whose figs I'm looking for.

yea when i buy online i buy from sets whos figs i looked up in the set and really liked heh. then again if i did walk into a store and see all the boosters, id probably actually go with whirlwind now that i think about it. The box represents ..the more dark misty not so evil side of fantasy games that i like O_o heh

the rebellion boosters dun look appealing and looked dull, same goes with whirlwind ...

i really dislike the wirlwind boxes. very dull. my favorite is the lancers box. bright blue, colorful and very attractive.
and the sinister art was good. its just exciting to see the new booster boxes for the first time.
