warlords only please; are you allowed to use non-heroes in the dungoun as pt. fillers
I saw an article on the official mageknight dungeon site about henchmen (non hero players in the dunguon) selection. Are "henchmen" legal in tournaments? If not what is this article about?
You may use all figures in your Heroic Team with the exception of Mage Spawn figures. However, in tournaments, any figure in the Heroic Team that does not have the Hero Faction symbol on it does not give you an activation.
For you Mage Spawn pool, you may use any figures that do not have the Hero Faction symbol on it.
In addition to the points Wilde Chaos has made, it has been ruled that figures with the same name should be considered the same figure for a Heroic Team (I'm not 100% whether it's for tournament purposes only or not). So, you can't have a Slasher* and a Slasher** in your Heroic Team, just one or the other.
Also, I'd like to point on thing out about your title. Rounding out your points actually doesn't help you in Dungeons. In MK or MK Conquest you want to get to exactly your point total, if possible. That's because your survival points add to your total & you start behind your opponent if he has exactly the build total & you don't.
However, in Dungeons, it's all about the gold. Indeed, the only tiebreaker that deals with points rewards those players with less points. So, you are actually hurting yourself by rounding out your point total with a figure you don't have a use for in your team.

In addition to this, it is also ruled that the LE versions of these figures also counted as the same as the non-LE versions. Example, you can't have Podo and a Goblin volunteer. Only one or the other.

Really? I thought they had ruled the opposite. I think it's time they updated the Dungeons FAQ, because it states the opposite.

Limited edition figures, which are variations a sculpture of another figure, are counted as a unique figure. For example, you could use Podo and a Goblin Volunteer, if you wish, but not a standard Volunteer and a weak.
The FAQ hasn't been updated since September, I think it's getting to be about time for a new update. There must have been dozens of new rulings.
