My faith healer captured his amazon draconum(thank you) and I make it back to my starting area. It is my last figure and my oppontent attacks my faith healer and puts it into it's demorilized slot. What happens to the captured figure? Do I get double it's point value? Does no one get it's points or does he get it'sw points. My warlord and other people there had a hard time figuring it out and they never did figure it out. So if someone knows the answer please tell me. Thanks.
Although your Faith Healer was demoralized, ending the game, demoralized figures can still be captors. You'd get no points for the Faith Healer but would still get points for the captive.
That's my take based on the rules of the game. I've never had that situation come up in a game I've run before.
i have to agree. and since the captive is in your starting area, you get bonus points- if it is provided for in the rules of the competition you participated in.
when your last figure goes demorilized then the game ends and vitory points are awarded. If amazon drac is in your starting area (not freed) then you are awarded double points for having him a s a captive. your opponet should have freed the drac then killed the healer for survivor points for the drac but since he didnt its your gain and good win!
Yes but the mproblem was that some people said that the demorilized figure is treated as dead whan the game is over if it's demorilized (which I don't think is true.) so the captive would be released.
Actually, a demoralized figure is NOT dead at the end of the game, nor is it treated as such. If anyone tries that argument with you, simply point out the facts that:
A) Nobody scores victory points for demoralized figures at the end of the game, if only demoralized figures are left standing.
B) At the end of the game, if you have both demoralized and non-demoralized figures left stading, you score points for all of them.
...and finally
C) A captor who becomes demoralized does not lose his/her captive.
Put all of those facts together and nobody can make the argument that demoralized figures are treated as 'dead' at the end of a game.
