OK so I got his offer a couple of days ago in my trade thread on Neutral Ground. I said I would 99/100% do his trade of my Arnis Drummond for his Dossak Darkbringer. So we pm each other a couple of times and I get an even better offer for arnis before the address' were issued or anything with nike. I told him I was backing out of thew trade because I got a better offer. He then starts spamming my pm box and saying that I was a bad trader and that he was gonna post I was a bad trader because I backed out. I then told him that what he had in mind is called "Blackmail" which it is. He also gave me the person who out-bid him's full name which is a violation of personal rights. He then sends me a pm telling me to "go to hell." I would not suggest this trader on any sort of trade. A person that can direct such offenses and has such a lack of using his brain clearly is not responsible enough for a trade. As for you nike, I am sorry but you must think before you act. 99/100m also left 1% that I would not do the trade. And that 1% happened to occur.

obviously anyone who wants to get to the bottom of this thread would have to see all the pms from both sides. But it definatly sounds like you strung him along. Telling someone that you 99/100% do the trade sounds like an acceptance of a trade to me.

If you are still fishing to get a better offer, it would have been better to tell him that you like his offer but want to wait a little bit to see if something better comes in.

What happened after you backed out is between the two of you. He may have overreacted, you may have wrote something that offended him, who knows... not I.

IF you felt "pressure" about the situation you should have reported PM abuse to a mod instead of starting a bad trader thread for a trade that did not occur.

Before trading with Nike, please take the time to look at the bad trader thread on the Mech Warrior Realms site. Nike himself posts that he is not a good trader and you can read an account of the unresolved trade problems that I had with him. Bottomline trade at your own risk with this guy.
