It is a RANGED attack, It doesn't do anything to 'trix till later Vextha is kind of screwed though...

I never see the use of these "spear" type weapons. Most players can stop them from ever being used. and almsot EVERY figure in the game can base it once it does get in range.. even trolls

That is agony when someone like Vextha gets hit.

I'm wondering weither the two damage would be delt before the effect incase the figure has invonrability.

A fine idea, but it's got way too many downsides to be worth 30 points.

I dont think it has any downsides at all. Like Jg said, put it on a mounted fig! Maybe even Tezlaraptor?

1) By its very relic nature, it prevents you from using any other relics.

2) If you're just using it to get range, well, Minotaur Hook grants the same range, the same damage, the precision proficiency, +1 to attack, has a cool optional ability that works more than once, and it costs two points LESS than this. Hmmm...

3) If you're using it for the optional ability, well, it decreases your accuracy and makes it more likely that you'll just end up flushing 30 points down the crapper.

4) It can't hit Varatrix. :rolleyes:
