Where's the one in San Diego?

I'm assuming Game Empire isn't going to do it anymore, which is a shame. It was the only pre-release I could go to.

I'm a friend of the Warlord there, I need to ask him what's up. I hope it's not canceled!

Well, I just got off the phone with him and he said that it doesn't look like Sorcery is gonna happen there.

Why did they schedule it for the same weekend of the MW marquee? That's just poor planning. Why does the same venue in TX and MA get two pre-release tournaments? Is that a hot bed of MK activity?

Well as far as the one in MA, it is not two prerelease it is that same event non stop for two days.

At the falcon's prey prerelease in MA they ran 44 flights over the 2 days.

Anyone going to the MA one swing by and say hi, on sat I will be warlording for a bit, and am pooring over the rules with the warlord friday night.

I wish I could go to a prerelease

For those of you that do not know about my constant online struggle let me tell you a tale of both pain and sorrow.

You see I was trying to set up prerelease events in my venue for quite some time now because as a native to canada I have found that only two venues that were offering the great elusive prerelease event and both of them were way too far away even to consider a road trip- unable to navigate through the various hiden links while awaiting day after day for multiple unanswered emails and phone messages. Finally I found a ray of hope - one competent employee able to take time out of their busy day to help answer some of my much awaited questions.

The honest truth about wizkids has now been revealed to me - like a heavy veil being lifted from my eyes for the very first time - I learned that there were only ever 30 slots available for all prereleases period. Only preselected stores were offered the event and no other venues will be allowed to have the event untill a new system is revised.

The person I talked to also said that the rumors of wizkids being a small company and being streched thin were very true and the reason why I have not been able to get anywere with them through their normal customer service lines is because they haven't had the man power to properly deal with any of us.

The person also said that a new system will also be in place hopefully as soon as january to allow more stores the chance to hold larger events but even then admitted that the proposed time line is only an estimate and that the real time line will probably be latter...

well there is our answers... I got more information about what I was looking for but still came up empty handed.
