question to sigmazero13 @ stone watch towers and start player
hi,
this is my first thread here...and school and learning english is more than....years ago...
here my 2 questions:
- when a warrior stand under a stone watch tower, is it possible to get contact to a warrior how stands on the tower as example base contact for healing or base contant for summon ?
- i heard that the player how is not the start player (...sorry i miss the correct word...) and had the last three actions when a game is ended, had an advantage more than 60% to win the game! Is there no better solution?
I ain't sigma, but I am willing to take a swing at this one...
I would have to doublecheck since no one uses constructed terrain by me, but I am pretty sure a recent faq ruled that if you base the tower at its access point, i.e. ladder, that would put you in base contact with whatever is on top of the tower.
I beleive this was done to prevent some rather cheesy tactics with Limited Invisibility and Ghostform.
As far as player two getting the last three actions.
The "official" decision after worlds was that there is no advantage to getting to place terrain first and move last and despite all the real world evidence to the contrary and 90%+ second player win ratios at places outside of worlds including my local area this is not a significant concern.

I've never said that about placing terrain. :) The issue of terrain placement will be addressed in the next tournament rules doc, which will likely reduce the abuse that first placement allows.
The other "issue", I've addressed in the past, as well as given my take on it. :)
