After looking at the Tourney rules document I see they address Ritual of Transformation. As I understand it you can only have one figure for each copy of the spell you have in your army.
I'm a bit curious... it says in the FAQ entry for Stick Horse that a rider gains the speed type of the mount instead of its original. I'm pretty sure in other places that it says in addition to. These two 'nuances' are fairly different in their implications, so which is it??

Yeah...though I'm not sure to understand...do you have to write that figure on both army registration sheet?....if so that's pretty lame. Not only would your opponent know your mage can transform but he would know exactly in what you can/will transform. So much for the secret spell selection hehe.

No, they changed it a while ago. There's a correction for the Dark Riders rules in there where it says a rider gains the mount's speed type instead of its own. I don't know what you're thinking of, the FAQ at no point says a rider gaining in addition too.
Bottom of page 6, exact text is "While part of a cavalry unit, a rider gains the speed type of its mount instead of the rider’s speed type."
Well, the FAQ does answer a few questions that I have answered for people this week, so the additions are definitely useful. Ritual of Transformation will not have the element of surprise that other spells have, but it is powerful enough. :)
Am I reading correct when I say my caster can now cast a spell, place it back in my spell stack and have it on top be to casted immediately again next turn, assuming it does not require me to place it face down?
