Solonavi won the campaign against the BPR Amazons. They are scattered and no longer capable of uniting. If Corella’s forces defeat the free Amazons and their Revolutionary allies, the Solonavi will maintain total control of the area around Nepharus Mons, scattering Valia’s forces once and for all. Poor BPR, one of the best units in the game have now gone over to the dark side!

Lol.... I'm actually really surprised that the Solonavi won that campaign. It's not like BPR have bad peices or that Solonavi have peices with really high defense. I figured the +1 dmg would have tipped the scales in favor of the BPR.

Yeah, I know. It could have gone either way and with all the BoL/Crown of Khamsin armies that were being used, I'm surprised the BPR didn't succeed. But then again, we're talking Solonavi here. I don't play or like either faction, but I am definitely more of a Solonavi supporter than a BPR supporter.

With the BPR vs Solo campaign, Crown of Khamsin worked for both sides. For example, I had an mostly BPR army with a *Solonavi Shade and an EFHS for Warden to ride, and the Crown on Tymara. Its a little crazy when a 17 point figure has a 10 attack for 4 damage because of Relics and Special Rules.

Based on various indicators, I'm pretty sure the BPR is the least popular faction, by a significant amount (look at how far down in the rankings you have to go to find a single BPR player, for example).

I know at my venue, every single player choose Solonavi as their faction (including one player with a BPR figure and no Solonavi). BPR had no chance of winning.

What?!? So the BPR won't be getting anymore Amazons?? That's it! I'm siding with the Solonavi now!! :p :D

BPR will get more Hairy dwarves instead of Amazons in future expansions... good riddance.

Be that as it may, I would have thought that even if there weren't a lot of direct BPR supporters, that there would have been enough Solonavi-haters (many of whom happen to be Draconum players, due to the storyline rivalry ;)) to put up a good fight.

Sometimes, the storyline isn't always about who you want to WIN, but rather who you'd rather have LOSE :)


That being said, I'm not disappointed in the least that we made up for our humiliation at Prieska :p

In any case, I would think that good amount of players like to win. And the +1 damage that the BPR players got would sway these players to fight for BPR. Second, as Sigma mentioned, there are plenty of Solonavi haters. I think it all started with the fab five, but that's another story.

Personally, I would have liked for the BPR to win this scenario. They are the quintessential underdogs and it would be great to see them overcome great odds (in this case a bunch of translucent demons/djinns/whatever-solonavi-are. Not to mention they fight for freedom and all of that good stuff. At my venue I had six players for that event but 5 of them chose the Solonavi. Obviously the solonavi won that one. It's a real shame BPR don't get enough support. Here's hoping Snow bursts onto the scene w/ a 14" damage 5 :bow: attack.

Well, as much as I hate the Solonavi, I hate the BPR more. There are factions on my list that need to get demolished. BPR is pretty much at the top of my list.

We have a BPR player at my venue, and we pretty much make a game of making fun of them...it's not that we hate them or him, we just don't like the BPR...except for Kenaz, because as Jay said "He's ****in harsh."

PffffT! Kenaz! The BPR come out with one good figure and everyone is on his jock! LOL
