During one of my many sleepless nights I started thinking about some of the Mage Knight Relics and I began thinking; Would this be a cool Relic or Item? So I was curious has anyone else had this idea for making their own relics for friendly games? I mean of course they could only be used in games at home with you friend not tournament legal or anything. Post some of your thoughts here.:p

I have thought of some, but the only problem comes from knowing how to figure out points and such...I think it's a real cool idea, add some spice!

Cool, yeah I was woking on the point cost thing, duno so far just working on some artifacts is all and I will see how things come together. Then maybee I will post some and get some feedback.

Over here we have a Campaign going on....we make our own relics, they are pretty cool, and balanced. We divide the campaign in events, the winner of each event earns the right to create a Relic or Item (2 relics and 1 Item per player) so we have a wide variety of Relics...and we even have a guy who makes them for us...with illsutration and all! They look very similar to the original ones....obviously....they are in Spanish :p

Only needing some sample scanned proxies to fit in own names, effects, stat boni & point costs ..

I'd would make me THE ONE RING for my Khan Frodo .. ;)

I'd further go for an item that grants Frenzy & Cursed without any stat boni so it should have a negative point cost. Still usable with the Dragon's Gate domain or otherwise stuff that already has those 'abilities' ..

Btw, the SCROLL OF ANNOUNCEMENT for 300 points [average case cost down here] automatically looses the game for the wielder .. ;-(

I am sorry, and it is not your reply specifically, but the word that means not winning is LOSE, not LOOSE. so LOOSING does not mean anything here, or anywhere I have been seeing it lately! Basic usage people, it's all I ask!

HEY, I MADE A RELIC THAT WAS A SPEAR. IT GRANTED A KIND OF SHORT, RANGED SWEEP. IT WAS REALLY COOL.

Perhaps dear-wizkids could let us use some blank templates to create our own styrene-of-the-week in ole open-source matters ..

Because there's no mini-styrene to be punched-out and inserted-in-slots, some Domains and Adventuring Companies would be the easiest to start with.

First try [with admitted horrible-horrorful layout & design - my back-office spare time just doesn't include hours of searching for the right fonts and stuff alike ..] - the HARKA HOOLIGANS adventuring company card .. ;)
