After going over the entries, I declare the winner for the first contest to be "The Little Train that Could" by PreacherMan2.

There were a lot of imaginative scenarios, and I hope the next contest has even more. Thanks to all who participated.

The Little Train that Could

Background: the Orc Khans are delivering Christmas presents to the children over the hill. The Elven Lords have decided to rob the train, keep the presents, and kill the orcs.

Army size: 400 points; 3 actions.

Time limit: 45 minutes

Preparing the battlefield: each player place one piece of hindering terrain, any type, on the field.

Special rules:
1) The orc player must have 3 figures from the OrccKhans or Orc factions in thier army. The Elven Lords player must have 3 figures of the elven lords in thier army.

2) One objective is placed in the center of the field. A second objective is placed in the Elf lords deployment zone. The second objective cannot be occupied or covered my any figure friendly to the elf lords player.

3) No figure may use revenant.

Victory Conditions: The orc player wins if both objectives are held for 3 consecutive turns, or if the elf lord army is defeated or if two relics ( christmas presents) are dropped on the objective token in the elf lord starting area

The elf lord player wins by capturing 2 orc khans figures, OR by holding or contesting the center objective when time is called, or by eliminting to orc army.

I never liked the elves...

Yeah, Maramala - the elves are bad from a certain point of view.
That's whats makes it fun, and a little dastardly.

Everyone assumes that the grinch stole christmas.

plus, aren't the elves just a little cocky and too assured of themselves? Don't they think they are better than everyone else? Why would they ever think that the the orcs would ever try to do somthing 'nice'? The Elves are operating on the pre-concievec idea (like yourslef:D ) that the orcs can not do anything good. therefore, they must be up to something bad, and must be stopped. Also, everyone know you smuggle orc dope to kiddies in toys. Thats just something evil that orcs would be up to. So the elves in doing the right thing, protect the children from the orcs, by taking to orc dope for them. And since the orcs are smuggling that evil magestone meth to children, they must be killed.

lastly, why would orce be doing something nice? They all want to gather round the tree at who-ville and sing with an elephant named Horton? No, of course they are up to something. What coult it be? Maybe we'll find out in the conquest contest....

Besides everyone knows that khan rava could be in league with the Solonavi....
