Has anyone had any problems with their figures? Mainly I have beef with Lothan. Mine I can't put both feet on the pegs and I accidently broke to right hand peg so I can't hold my gun now....all the other figures though haven't given me much trouble other than keeping Silver Max's droid on the base.
The only problem I've had with Kellan (my only fig until my comic shop opens) is that the hole for my explosives pack seems to be too small. It fits on the pegs, but when I try to remove it, it pulls the pegs out with it :( I have pulled out her hip peg and one of the hand pegs this way.
I had the same problems with Lothan. His wide stance doesn't allow his feat to stay on his platform, so every time you move him he falls off his base. I tried his gun in his right hand and promptly broke off his peg removing the gun. I super glued the peg but what are the odds its just going to break again? I also ripped his coat off his body in one place while investigating if his coat was removable. I guess it wasn't.
The details of this figure is awesome. I especially liked the dead animal (road kill?) on the bottom of his foot, but will these figures hold up in game play?
My other problem with Lothan is the fact that these figures were promoted with the idea that all their equipment and dice would store away nicely in their base. Lothans extra hands and large gun don't fit.
I also dislike that the bases themselves are not stackable. I've managed to buy tons of Mage Knight, Heroclix, and MechWarriors because they are fairly small and can be stored easily in a cheap tackle or cardboard box. These figures are nice but if we suppose to buy 20 or so of these large figures in the first few series, space and convenience of storage we be a priority.
2 of my Gdogg's pegs broke off today, first day I got him. I must say that disappointed me greatly, I'm not exactly putting excess force on these things (I'm an avid action figure fan).as far as stackable bases, they could add it in future sets, Just need to have an inverted lip on the bottom and they'd stack fine the way they are now, jsut a very slight dip so that they'd lock together, sure the first series still wouldn't have them, but the first series is only 6 figures.
Hey DrHyde and Rabid, if you read the thread on "Figure care & storage tips", it will describe how to free Lothans ankle joints. By flexing his ankles back a bit you can get Lothan to stand upright with both feet on his base.
