Ok, well given the sheer mass of 2 slot gear out there I'm going to do this in a series of posts (expect the same format to be followed for 3 slot gear as well).


2 Slot Gear.

What two slot gear is available?

Walther PB-120(Kyushi): provides one yellow d/6

Cloak(Liada): provides one yellow shield 6

Shoulder Pouch(Liada): provides 2 white d/4's

Scanner(G-dogg): provides one black shield 6

Taser(G-dogg): provides 2 blue d/4's

Clairvoyance Talisman(Lothan the Wise): provides one white d/6

Hammer(Silver Max): provides 2 yellow d/4's

Ares Predator(Silver Max): provides one white d/6

Stun Rod(Kellan Colt): provides one yellow d/4 and one blue d/4


What are the uses of 2 slot gear?

Yipes, well there are quite a few uses for 2 slot gear, and I have to be careful that I don't repeat myself and get too specific in this section compared to other sections later on.

A.) Use 2 slot gear to help augment a strength your figure might inherently have.

So what does that mean? Well, at this level of gear your past the mere idea of filling up your slots, but you're still not picking up your heavy-hitting weapons. At 2 slots, the biggest dice you're going to get is a six-sider. So, I'll use G-dogg as a good example of what I mean for this use.

G-dogg has both a +1 damage to both blue and to yellow. However, he does not start out with any blue dice. Now I hate the idea of having a damage bonus, but never being able to use it. So, aside from G-dogg's shotgun(which is one of my favorite pieces of gear, but we'll get to that gun much, much later), I like augment G-dogg's blue attack with the taser, because it gives high chance that I can hit with the blue damage and also possibly stun, a very good combination.

So anyway, that's the main idea, make your attacks that much better for just a few slots filled.

Silver Max has and Ares Predator?

Um...yes? I'm going strictly by what's put up on this site, and Silver Max does indeed have the Ares Predator.

Max does have a small gun that looks surprisingly like a Ares Predator, but it adds a blue d6 instead of a white d6.....

Yeah I have that one with the blue D6 not the white.

why would any gun add a white d6?
