How are uniques goin to work in these packs? In the aces pack you can't have two Nathan Zacharys. In the squadron packs will all the pilots be unique. I mean if you want to do a 3-4 player game it'll be hard to have the same pilots in the air. I know nobody knows this yet but what do you think it will be like. Personally I would like to have a couple of squadrons of brigands flying around but if there's only one pilot flying a brigand and hes unique that would kind of suck. The only reason I bring this up isbecause its not like mechwarrior where there are a few mechs that arent unique but in CS you just buy a whole squad and thats what you get.
Now that I think about it, doesn't seem kind of odd if opposing players could have the same pilot face off against each other? This is sometimes the case in MechWarrior, but I've never really given it a lot of thought until now.
Welcome to the Heroclix problem. Even with no dupes house rules you still often have the same people on both teams.
If it bugs you just make up a story. My opponent is just some clown trying to use my reputation and his squadron are fakes. Now I'm going to gun him down and prove that I'm the real Ace Blank!
Option two is to mod your planes and aces. As long as the bases don't change its tourny legal. I'll at least be painting kill markers on my planes!:devious:
whenever in MWDA we have 2 uniques fighting off agaisnt eachother, the loser offen ends up being the "doppleganger" and actaully is not who she/he is, but an imposter. could work the same way in Crimson skies

Which ties in with all the imposters of the BattleTech universe. Hanse (by Liao), Thomas (by Davion), and the wonderful attempt to replicate Aidan Prydes.
It's kinda like Genghis Kahn painting his planes to the People Collective colors so he could rob the payroll from a town in the People's Collective. Masquerading as someone else seems to be a concurrent theme in Crimson Skies.
