You try to get a logical answer to a valid question, but instead you are given Tongue-Twists and Redirects... A sleight-of-hand to distract you from someone's possible mistake in a ruling... And god forbid if one of us is right, the Powers above will always use... "Because we say..." rather than admit fault...

If this is the first WK Game you have played,i understand where you are comming from,but as i have played all of their games at some point,i can
say without fear of contradiction,that WK pay the same attention to
the rules for all of their games,and thats very little.You are just expected to buy the game and have absolutely no opinion on it what so ever,unless you are singing their praises and worship the ground they walk on,i could go on,
but i won't cause it's a waste of time,this is a beer and prets game if you
don't like something change it till it works.Some other company will have
to do it when WK goes bust and all of the games are sold off anyway.

Take my advice,don't bust yourself about it,just play the best way you can,
and have some fun.

While I'll be the first to admit that WizKids uses some really screwy logic at times, in this case I think they're right on the money. Ghost Crew sinks Plague because plague doesn't work on ghosts. Simple as that. The reasoning behind the ruling might be shakey, but the ruling itself is sound. The same is true of the Rum ruling in the second thread you linked -- Rum counts as gold, and it's pretty clear "starting gold" refers to a gold value, and not actual tokens. Since this has been clarified by the designers of the game, I don't see anything to argue about.

As I said, WizKids has made some screwy rulings in the past, but these aren't among them.

Yeh,it pains me to agree,as you can tell WK are not highly ranked
as rules makers in my book but in these two cases Huntsman and
WK are right,their is not much to argue about.

I noticed a huge difference in the responses you got to this post between hrer and there. At WK's site they seemed to think you got what you deserved and basicly said shut-up and sit down. Why do you think this is so?

djmayday, it's more than a little conceited to profess the evils of WK and what they do on their own site without at least some context. You have turned entire threads on WK's site into your own personal rant zones and have double-posted numerous complaints on rulings made by pirahna, demanding changes to rulings and explanations long after pirahna, Woelf, PerryGreen and myself have repeatedly tried to give you endless analogies, explanations and reasons for the way that things are done.

Had I noticed this thread of yours sooner I would have included the link to this thread's cousin, where you were told off by not a small number of WK's site's members. Not only that but when people started to complain about your conduct (instead of complaining about WK like you'd hoped) you kept opening your mouth instead of apologizing and moving on.

For you to retop this forum with this thread is the height of arrogance. You are lucky that pirahna removed the threads on the WK site. In his shoes I would probably not have been so lenient on someone that had all but insulted my intelligence by insisting that I comply with the house rules that "at least four venues in [ your ] area" used, rather than allowing a community to be built based upon official rulings.
