1) Exhausted Characters-Do they still defend the characters behind them? Can they be attacked/attack?
2)Activated powers-say I attack a Tibetan Monk or any other character with an Activate power and the characters controller activates in response to my attack. Does the attack still go through? Can they activate it in response to the attack?
3)Rogue (the 3 drop one)-That rogue says that when it attacks a character the character is exhausted. Does the attack still happen or is it just like a exhaust for an exhaust?
4)Team attacks-When team attacking with say a Rogue, Powerhouse and another character, does rogues ability work? Same thing with wolverine, beserker rage or any other character with an effect that deals with attacking or stunning.
1. Yes, they still defend characters behind them. They can be attacked (and consequently, they couter-attack), but can't start their own attacks.
2. Yes, the attack still goes through... if the character you attacked is still a legal target afterwards (for example, Boris goes back in his deck after activating, so you can't attack him anymore). Yes, they can activate in response to the attack.
The one thing that I would add is, that in #2, if your target is no longer a legal target after activating their ability, if it was activated in response to the attack declaration, then you have a clean slate, and may do whatever you want. If the character activated their ability after you exhausted, then you may ready the character at resolution when it finds no legal target for the attack.
Boris and Forge immediately come to mind, but their are a number of plot twists that could be played to achieve a similar effect.
