Hi. I have a question that maybe someone can help me with. I play against a guy who plays either Sentinels or Skrulls. Now, I have 4 Flame Traps but other than them, what else can I do to defend against these two teams? I have had some success but not as much as I would like. I could surely use some help trying to make a stronger team. I prefer playing with FF. Thanks in advance.
one of the things that army decks do well at is having more charachters on the field than you and thus can reinforce your attacks, what you need are flyers and ways to disrupt his backline, so he can not reinforce. and the FF has alot of options to do just that.
In addition to the Flame Traps, run Child Named Valeria. It will keep your smaller guys from being stunned until you can get some bigger guys on board. Overloads also wreck both Skrulls and Sentinels.
I will try adding Child Named Valeria and the Overloads. The only thing that sucks is I only have 2 CNV so that brings down my chances of pulling her right off.
A plot twist that only allows your opponent to recruit one character per turn, that just basically shuts off the whole deck. Plus, if you find yourself needing to prevent them from playing any more characters, you just pay that four endurance, and you can use it again!;)
The problem with Political Pressure is that it is virtually useless against all other decks. Both Valeria and Overload are useful most decks, in addition to being graet against Skrulls and Sentinels.
Well, political pressure does look like a card that could help. I can see where that could really hurt a skrull team or a Senitinel Team. If they can't recruit they can't swarm. Unfortunetly I don't have any.
So Political Pressure won't work as well with Sentinels but what about skrulls? I can't decide which team aggravates me more to play. I don't like to feel stuck. If you know what I mean. Especially if I don't get the pulls I need right off to keep him from swarming.
For Skrulls, splashing Scarlet Witch into your deck might help since all the activated abilities would hurt them as well. Not sure if that is a good idea for your deck, but it is a thought.
or that equip. that U can only equip to doom. even though u play FF, the idea of them not being able to use acv. abilities is a good thought. also, the 7 drop magnito says stunned characters your opponent controls cant be recovered giving the swarm only one chance a character.
I have a pretty solid Sent/Skrull deck i play around with for fun. Hitting the back line is not normally an issue for these decks if theya re well built, I aften have 6 to 10 characters out ALL in the back line.
the best 7 drop against skrulls and sentinels would be wolverine beserker rage every time he stuns a character with a cost of 4 or less wolverine redies again one wolverine can go through 10000 sewntinels but the problem is getting to 7 sentinels generally wont let u get that far in the game
