It's about Community Pride!I took some time over the past couple weeks, sitting in front of my computer, trying to design a GREAT VSRealms t-shirt design. Scrap paper, deleted files, and many (MANY) hours later ... I still couldn't come up with something that I thought the community would like. So to make a long story short; it isn't my place to decide what the community 'might' like ... it's up to you, the VSRealms community. That being said, I'm calling out to all the artists that I know frequent VSRealms ... and offer a little challenge. Come up with an AWESOME VSRealms t-shirt design. Something that not only captures what this site is all about; but could be easily recognizable by everyone else at tournaments, PCQs, or just around town. Here are some guidelines: 1.) Please use the template provided. You can send the image only, as long as you indicate where on the shirt it should go. 2.) This is for the Front ONLY. The Back is branded with the standard "Powered by RealmWorx" mark. 3.) Please stay "PG-13"; and refrain from using any words that would be deemed 'inappropriate' by normal standards. 4.) It should include the following: "VSRealms" visibly. It can be done in ANY font/design. 5.) You can submit as many designs as you want. There is no limit. 6.) You can design it for ANY COLOR shirt you want. Black is probably the prefered 'gamer color' though. IMPORTANT: No Copyrighted Images (ie. Marvel and/or DC). We will take submissions until 7/21/2004; at which point the staff will select, what we believe to be, the Top 10 designs submitted. Those Top 10 will be voted on by the community, and the winning shirt will be printed (Hopefully in time for GenCon Indy). The creator of the winning design will receive: - 1 Booster Box (1E) of DC: Origins - 1 Free 'VSRealms' t-shirts - $50.00 USD Depending on the number of submissions, additional product may be handed out to those in the Top 10. Oh, and I guess this needs to be said; all entries become the property of RealmWorx. However, if we do use your (non-winnng) design, we'll make sure we hook you up. We may end up printing more than just the winning design this year! LOL!

it would be kinda neato if there was room on the shirt for some folks to put their vsrealms id name if they wanted.

i sent a shirt in a few days ago with that on the shirt. i hope it take it to the top 10

We've gotten some really strong designs lately. I'm definately looking forward to seeing a lot more as we wrap up the next couple days!

If there is no copyrighted images, what is allowed? can you use your own deisigns of charachters or is that considered infringement?

I sent in three seperate designs, and (a note to the Staff) I intended for the third to be on a blue shirt, since it'd match and all.

A small problem arose with school and work I can’t make the dead line. Is their any chance of extending the dead line past 7/21/2004 ?

So no Marvel/DC stuff, but what about VS System logo itself? Can that be used?

Edit: Also, is there a posting on how the back of the shirt looks? Just out of curiousity...

You've got 1 hour... Midnight Eastern Standard Time. I've got 10 really strong Designs/Concepts realy to go ... I can definately tell you that I'd be hard pressed not to pick 2 winners after it's all said and done. Lets see what the community has to say though! :)

When will the finalists be posted? I'm pretty sure I'm not one of them, but I want to see what everyone has come up with.

Can't wait to see the top 10 designs. After its all said and done, will the shirts be available to order?
