Why can't I find a single store running the Hobby League? I want the promo cards!
I recently asked a local game store owner why his store isn't running the Hobby League, and he said it's because Upper Deck requires that a store buys cases of boxes per month and he just can't afford it. What's the story with that, and is anyone else searching for hobby league locations and coming up empty?
Well everytime I ask my local store he says that they aren't available yet. He's also not one to lie or just brush me off. He says that he keeps trying to get them but that they haven't been released yet. I told him that I saw them online and people were already playing. Anyways going to try again tomorrow when I go to my LGS
Last friday I was playing some games and ran into a player that was playing the promo Wolverine, Logan and New Brotherhood cards in his decks. So they're out.

Hi, I've won 2 Wolverine's so far and sold them both on eBay :)

You do have to have an Upper Deck Direct account, but you don't have to actually order any of your product from them if you can't handle the volume.

And how do you get an Upper Deck Direct account? I play at the same store as SpoDaddy (hey Chris) and I'm sure that the owner would go about getting an account, but as of now we only have a few players at the store so he is unable to support buying a ton of cards.
The Vs. System Hobby League is active! Kits are available to order now. August kits featured Wolverine Logan and Rogue Powerhouse both as extended-art box promos. The September kits are shipping now, and I won't spoil the whole surprise, but the Attendance Award for Sept. is Advanced Hardware.
A UDE Tournament Store Account is required for shops to license league kits. this simply means that the shop has a physical store front, a tax ID # and play space to run Organized Play programs. No purchase is required of tournament store accounts, but they do have access to great OP support products like league kits and tournament packs for Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.
An store interested in running Hobby League needs to contact [email protected] for more details.
**Congratulations GDE!** It looks like you've won one of three grand prize Alienware Area-51 ALX PCs exclusively through Hobby League. Be sure to go to udrewards.com and bid on the Alienware auction when you're ready, they will be up there all year, so take your time if you want!
Please feel free to direct any Hobby League questions my way, I'll be happy to help
My store has the extended art cards but no scratch off tickets? Do they come in a bundle as one package or are they two separate shipments? I'm from Canada if that matters...
