I ask for your feedback, because of my experience at a PCQ, I had made it to the top 4 draft, then we began the draft. Myself as a veteran in VS, not to boast, but I have had a lot of draft testing. My opponent played well, a little too well, the people I practice with play fairly, but when do you know you have a cheat in front of you; usually you don't.

We played in the semi's, and he was getting god hands just like me, however 1-2 him, he wins.

In the finals, my opponent is found with extra cards in his deck, and his deck list does not even match, with the deck.

In this situation, what would you do?

If you were me, the judge, or the cheat, any feedback would be good.

I've caught people CHEATING CHEATING. I mean, its funny when someone has 14 cards in their hand on turn 2 and they aren't playing a deck that makes it that way. I've played people who switch out cards from their resource row to their hands, and who mysteriously have 6 Savage Beatdowns in their deck. Being an understanding person, I know that they simply forgot that you only draw two cards at the start of your turn, or that you can't alter your resource row, and they might have accidentally had those 2 extra Savage Beatdowns slip into their deck un-noticed. I know I might accidentally misplace 2 of my 30 dollar cards into my deck. Why ever would I miss them? And since I am so nice, I nod my head, smile, point out their errors. We discuss how to level the playing field without involving any judges or store owners. Typically it is to my benefit.

It is to everyone's advantage to closely observe their opponent- not just themselves.

well i dont really know what i would do if i caught someone cheating i think i would give him a choice ov letting me win that whole match and if that doesent work out i would call the judge

I say you force them to give you there play matt that should have been yours anyways. Then you and you group meet him outside the bowling ally and kick him in the nutts. But that is just me and I grew up on 3 stoges movies. Next time well all be watching your back shadow.

Cheaters? I personally haven't seen anyone (I may just suck at looking though :P). In tourny play- call a judge and they should be kicked out- in casual play, point it out and then beat them.

Can't we all just get along =P. there should be a judge at every table. and cheater should be thrown out, there pic taken and never be allowed into a PCQ or any Vs. event.

Eh, I think that's abit harsh.

They should be thrown out, and banned from all events for a good 5 months. I've learned from local games and comic shop tournaments, that cheaters(at CCGs) generally change their ways after being caught, because they want to play again. Usually it takes just one time catching them, because they just wanted to take their cheating ways as far as they could take them.

I say cut off all fingers except the pinky and the thumb, that way they can still play the game, but it will be hard for them to cheat.

As long as the player they "cheated on" gets to keep the fingers as little trophies.

But they can sell the fingers back at twice the market price.
