he will im new at the game and i have 2 questions

1.is there a limit on how many cards you can have on the field to provide resouce points?

2.how many characters are you allowed to have on the field at one time?

No limit to either. You may only play oe resource a turn, but a game may go to an indefinate number of turns.

You may only have one copy of a location in play at a time, one version of a character in play at a time, and one equipment card per characarter at a time. That's pretty much it.

You can recruit as many characters as you like as long your resource pool allows it.

For example, considering you have 5 resources:

you can either:
Recruit five 1-cost characters or one 5-cost character or one 3-cost and one 2-cost character etc

Some cards allow you to put characters into play without using up your resource pool such as Dual Nature, Dr.Light's boost, Mysterio's boost etc
