Does anyone know how the superman ability works
since superman red says superman gets +4 atk while attacking from the front row does that mean all cards named superman or just him cause im confused ive been told both yes and no
The very same question came up time and time again when Scarlet Spider and his army of spidey-clones were unleashed upon us in Web of Spiderman.
Whenever a card refers to itself by name (ie. Superman-Red, Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman etc.) that card is referring to itself, and itself ONLY.
So, Superman-Red should really read "This specific piece of cardboard gets +4 atk when attacking from the front row"
So, no, Superman-Red will not increase the ATK of Clark Kent, Blue, Kal-El, Man of Steel, the Boyscout or even another copy of Red.
However, notice the difference between cards refering to themselves for an effect (like Red), and cards using the phrasing "cards named x gains y" (Superman robots for instance)
Hope that cleared up any confusion
