Protecting stunned Characters so is it still considered to be protected?

Here's the keyword from the glossary.

Protecting:

A character is protecting another character if it is directly in front of the other character,
both are controlled by the same player, and neither character has the stunned
characteristic.

So your front row character isn't "protecting" your stunned support row character, and your stunned support row character isn't "protected".
