yes the next VS system set after mk is GLC, but the next marvel set is avengers.

Take a look at the rumors section of the board. The next 4 sets in 2005 for VS are given as well as approximate dates of release.

we know everybody wants that to be the next marvel set,but i remember that before wsm was released peopele were sp thinking that avengers was the next set.....and they did mk,how is this known that the avengers is the next set for the year?

remember there is a starter set for the ff coming soon too,the starters for the ff will be new cards that can only be bought like that

The "new" FF Starters are just a marketing ploy to coincide with the release of the Fantastic Four movie. They're FF cards that everyone already has with "new art" or photos from the movie.

Same thing with the "new" Batman starters in June.

And is there any coincidence that the Marvel Knights set comes out around the same time as the Elektra movie?

Yep, the next set after MK, will be the Avengers.
Now, after that, who knows.

After Avengers is the Justice League. Its only fair that if marvel gets its more powerful team, DC should too.

however, I wonder what will be in store for DC after JLA.
And, what will come out for Marvel after Avengers.
Maybe a Marvel origins pt2, we could use a legit, and expansive X-men, Doom, FF,ect expansion set.
At least, I know that I could.
