Sure, nothing stopping that. And it is Firepits of Apokolips. ;)

Yeah from my understanding you only check uniqueness when they come into play, after that its fair game.

To be more precise, it is when Locations are flipped up. If a Location were able to come into play face-up, uniqueness would not be checked (no means exist for that to happen currently).

Similarly, with characters/unique equipment, Uniqueness is checked only when they are recruited. If they come into play by some other means, there is no Uniqueness check.

If that theory is true, you should be able to have multiple copies of Hank Hall and Dawn Granger in play if you use their boost because they are not being recruited, they are being put into the front row.

andrew: how do you do that? recruiting the second hawk or dove with boost would KO the original so it seems like a waste of resource points to me. I think you need to look at the wording of the boost ability.

You would only be able to effectively use their boost once, because it says "if you don't control hawk/dove, search your deck for a card named hawk/dove".

yeah, I guess you are right. I was thinking it said boost 1/2 search your deck for Hank Hall/Dawn Granger and put him/her into your front row. Sorry
