Gotham=pain Darkseid=pain

So what happens if youput them together? Those who know me know that i like makin' weird decks. Just for the hell of it. i want to put ol' Bats and Darksied together. Any suggestions? i want to capitalize on Desaad+ Bernadeth+ Batman(thecaped crusader) + beta club. Just cuz.

Caped Crusader and Beta club could be crazy.

We did a booster draft @ the local shop tonight and I went for the Darkseid/New Gods route and it worked out pretty well.

I really like the way Gole/Desaad/Mark Moonrider/Bernadeth+Beta Club worked out for my first 4 drops--worked like a dream.

I jacked things up in the final though:

Turn 7(w/ initiative) I drop Infinity Man to join Barda, Metron and Vykin.

My opponent drops General Zod to join his 6-drop Lex, Mongul and Mr. Myxwhatever the...(exhausted).

I held a respectable margin but a misplay cost me the win.

I opted to attack his Lex w/ Drax but as soon as I declared it I realized I no longer had a cosmic counter on Barda(NO!).

The attack jarred him into the negative, but I was clueless to Zod's text. He KO'd Lex to exhaust Barda and did the same for Mr. whatshisname to exhaust Vykin.

Zod on Metron for 10 and Mongul on Vykin for another 10 and I lose it by 4!!! Stupid mistakes kill me(and, I suppose, every other schmuck unlucky enough to commit them).

But in regards to your post, Darkseid/Gotham Knights is definitely a team-up I've considered. I think I like their synergy.
