The Attack never gets to that point.
As Soon as the Attack is declared and Legal than he goes back to your hand. The Attacker readies cause there is no longer a Defender (or there never was one pretty much).

Now as for someone like Toad or Donna Troy you Give a Character Reinforcement before they are stunned. For Toad this means if you reinforce him you take nothing. As he goes to your hand instead of the stun. Donna does not avoid the Stun so if you still take her flip cost. Then she goes back to your hand.

So toad is the only one (not donna or mr.m) you can pull that trick with? So I can't use nasty suprise with Mr.M?
