Star of the Show will protect your single character against any targeting effects generated by any opponent. This would include a targeting effect from a character, a plot twist (both ongoing and non-ongoing), a location, or equipment.
Keep in mind, though, that it only applies to targeting effects. It will not work on any effects that say 'choose' or has you as the controller of the character do something (such as Puppet Master).
I have 2 character in play. My opponent use Roy Harper effects on Ghost rider drop 8 to stun him, in responce I activated GhostR effects then I play "Mind over matter " giving my Zergeist +3 attack. Does my Ghost Rider get stunned or does return to my hand!?
I have my Zergeist in play with his cosmic counter on it. It is my attack step.When is the correct time to do his activated effect, Because it said "Only during your combat phase ", how do I get during my combat phase!? or can I used asuming that I am in the "combat phase".

First case: If the chain is as you presented it, Ghost Rider will be returned to the hand before Roy Harper's effect will resolve. Zeitgeist will be +3 ATK. Roy Harper and any other 5 or lower drops your opponent controls will be KO'd.
Second Case: The Combat Phase is the point of time after the last player's Formation Step and before the Recovery Phase. There is the general Combat Phase before a player may attack. Effects that trigger at the start of the Combat Phase (such as Cosmic Spider Man) would trigger at this point. Zeitgeist is legal to use here. When both players pass on an empty chain at this point, the game moves to the initiative player's Attack Step. This is still part of the Combat Phase, so Zeitgeist could be used here as well. After both players pass on an empty chain, with no attack in progress, the game moves to the next player's Attack Step. Zeitgeist is legal for use here as well. This continues until all players have had their attack step (relevant for multi-player games). When the last player's Attack Step ends and all players pass on an empty chain, the game moves to the Recovery Phase. At this point, Zeitgeist cannot be used.
