yet another question im sure has been asked 50 trillian times
Ready all Teen Titans characters that have team attacked this turn. Those characters cause no breakthrough this turn.
that HAVE team attacked
if my opponent declares an attack with 4 TTs, how can they be readied with TTG if the card says, HAVE. HAVE is the past tense and ARE is the present tense. they ARE team attacking when my opponent readies them and snipes the declared defender with harper
shouldnt the card read (in order to combo to harper): Ready all Teen Titans characters that are team attacking this turn. Those characters cause no breakthrough this turn.
In this case, "Have team attacked" is referring to have received the team attacker characteristic. Characters that are currently team attacking have received that characteristic and thus will be affected by Teen Titans Go.
Once the proposed team attack is ~(*AlLoWeD*)~, past tense, ;) then the proposed attackers are now considered attackers, and the attack has occured. past tense. ;)
sry if im being sarcastic/rude, hehehe, cant help it
To illustrate why the wording works as it does, I actually going recommend looking at another common card wording.
"Whenever [this character] attacks..."
This type of power is triggered when the character becomes an attacker, which happens as he exhausts; by the same token, characters "have attacked this turn" if they became attackers earlier in the turn. The shorthand is that, of course, dlanaan is right. :)
If you had 4 TT characters out, had 2 team attack one opponent character and 2 team attack another, you could use Teen Titans Go to ready all 4. This is why the card is worded as it is. If it was worded as you said, then only one set of team attackers could ready this turn.
