Some cards say that upon attack or whatever you may exhaust an unprotected character.
Obviously the front row isn't protected.
Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I thought at least you should have the option of protection to be unprotected,but maybe not.
Anyway, can you exhaust a front row character when your card says exhaust an unprotected character?

a caracter is protected if their is a caracter in front of him
and like u said it's obvius that their is no one in front of an 'front row carac.'
