My hero gives characters the protected status. does this mean that only characters with flight can attack them. also, can i name a character that is in the hidden area with my hero. it states that the character must be ready and in the front row. could this character not be ready and in the front row of the hidden area and still satisfy the requirements of the card. i looked at the rulings of the card but don't think it has been updated since marvel knights came out. and just in case you can name a hidden and you have to have flying to attack a protected character, could i play 4 drop storm, pay 2 to take away flight, have my hero out with the named guy ready and in the front row of the hidden area, and thus not be attacked at all? thanks for any help in advance.
As was Blob, since he grants a rather similar benefit to My Hero.

Official Card Reference
My Hero
While the chosen character is ready, visible, and in the front row, support row Spider-Friends characters you control are protected.
Blob, Fred Dukes
While Blob is visible and in your front row, support row Brotherhood characters you control cannot be attacked.
Zyx, My Hero and Blob's power don't apply when the characters are hidden, to anyone. A visible My Hero choice helps both areas, but a hidden one helps neither.
I recommend checking the latest copy of the Official Card Reference in cases where you want to check if a particular card's text has changed, as with My Hero; this way, rather than looking for an announcement of the change, you'll be looking at the card itself and seeing for yourself how it currently reads. For very recent changes to single cards, you can always scan that Rules Team News page, but when Errata are made in bulk, as with the release of a new set, they do not each appear on that page.
