In terms of effect timing and order...and other newb questions
I'm still trying to understand the element of timing and order in Versus, I was wondering, is the order a lot like the LIFO order in Magic? Because there was been several occurances that confuse me in the game. And do effects just fizzle once they are illegal? How about character effects? Are costs paided out and the effects happen even if the source is gone?
A few questions like
1. My opponents flips over "Daily Bugle" and in response I play "Breaking Ground". Does the Daily Bugle's effect still works with the location gone?
2. "Savage Land" has been activated and used, if "Relocation" is used, does the effect still happen?
3. If I manage to return "Venus Dee Milo" back to my hand when somebody tries to use "Lady Shiva" on me, will that Lady Shiva ready or the costs is paid and the effect fizzles? Or does it ready (as in combat)?
Other unrelated questions:
1. Just to double check, if a "Nasty Surprised" is used on a character. The attacking character isn't considered to be "stunned by a plot twist" right?
2. Can a character reinforce another character at anytime? Or does this option only occur after an attack as been made and resolved? For example, Banshee attacks me and exhausts my characters, can I reinforce as a response?
Sorry for the large amounts of questions, I'm the only one in my group of friends that is willing to ask,Thanks in Advance
1. My opponents flips over "Daily Bugle" and in response I play "Breaking Ground". Does the Daily Bugle's effect still works with the location gone?
Daily Bugle has a triggered effect, so you would have to Breaking Ground it before you stunned, and if you did its effect wouldn't go on the chain.
2. "Savage Land" has been activated and used, if "Relocation" is used, does the effect still happen?
Once effects are placed on the chain, they become independent of their sources. So Savage Land would still be a legal pump, the same would be true if you Kaboomed, Have a Blasted, or Relocated it.
3. If I manage to return "Venus Dee Milo" back to my hand when somebody tries to use "Lady Shiva" on me, will that Lady Shiva ready or the costs is paid and the effect fizzles? Or does it ready (as in combat)?
She wouldn't ready because activating is a cost to put the effect on the chain regardless of whether the effect comes to fruition or not.

1) No, depending. There are two things to keep in mind. If you're trying to stun through combat, then you'll have to get to an empty chain to resolve that combat. In that case, Breaking Ground will stop it from being on the field for the triggered effect to go off. If BG is played AFTER the stunning, and DB was played (and the name chosen) BEFORE the stunning, the loss of the Bugle doesn't stop the effect, however.
An interesting case arises with characters like Sunfire and Cardiac. In these cases, you can stop the Bugle's effect by KO'ing it before the naming effect resolves or the stunning effect resolves. You have to KO the Bugle then to stop it; KO'ing once both have resolved makes it too late to stop the effect from allowing a resource to be flipped face-down.
2) Yes. Same thing as with the Bugle. If taken after its effect hits the chain, the effect still works fine. These are cases of the 'Basketball Rule'. Once the ball (effect) leaves the hand of the player (source), affecting the player will normally do nothing to the trajectory of the ball. Some odd cases exist, such as with Ka-Boom! and Foiled, but that's since they specifically check their source's position on resolution.
3) Shiva's KO'ing effect is a payment power. Removing the target negates the effect, but costs remain paid. Attacking is the exception to the process of working with effects; if an effect is played legally, nothing that happens will cause a 'take-back' event to occur.
B1) Nasty Surprise raises the ATK of a character. The character remains the source of the stun on the attack's resolution. For characters like MoE's Paul Ebersol, Flame Trap and A Child Named Valeria's second effect are plot twist effects which cause a character to be stunned. Anything that modifies character's abilities or traits allows the results of the effect to apply to the character, like NS on a defender. If that was an equipped GK character, you'd still get to draw a card if you had the 3-drop Babs <> Batgirl on the field.
Reinforcement can only be done during a legal attack. You do NOT wait until the attack concludes; like playing an attack pump, it must be done before then. In response to an effect like Banshee or Justice, Like Lightning, you may reinforce the defender with a character who will or could become exhausted when that effect resolves, before it resolves. Make sense? :)
