OK for those of you who do not know James is a very well respected commercial illustrator. He has done work for Time Magazine, Playboy, Target and a ton of other major players. He has (over the last couple of years) done some comic covers as well.
So on to the point of this thread- this guy cannot work cheap! I can't believe that UDE got him to do the art for Rocket Red (and maybe others in the JLA set) AND the box art for the upcoming X-Men set!
I am impressed of course and it leads me to wonder how do you go from big guns like Alex Ross and James Jean down to "also rans" like Juvaun Kirby and Joe Philips? No slight meant to those guys of course.

I was quite surprised to see him as well. But I also don't think he has the space on a card to really show off how talented he is, even though all the cards he drew for JLA look great. His covers for Fables and Green Arrow are wonders in design.
