Words do not begin to describe the new Deluxe Collector Sets.

These things are awesome!!! It's a heavyboard collectors box (with a magnetic closure) that holds all 4 tins (set side by side they form the Alex Ross mural) and you get 4 booster packs and 4 EA Variant Art cards.

For around $30, these things are a must have.

Is there a website with pictures that I can order from? What packs do ya get? Which EAs?

I don't care if this was 3 months ago... this is the first time I've seen them, held them... rolled around in them... they ROCK... ROCK! ROCK! ROCK!

And until Ebay incorporates some new virtual reality interface... nothing compares to actually holding these suckers.

My store in SoCal got them today.

One cool thing about the box:

I has 'holders' for the four boxes, but it also has 3 small slots at the top that hold the boosters.

So, if you use this to carry cards around, you have a slot at the top to put some extra cards that you pick up during the day as prizes, etc. I think that's going to come in handy.

To me, I see it as a waste of money (don't kill me)

These are my reasons:

1. I don't need the tins, I use the ones I win from PCQs, etc

2. I'm not an EA collector, plus they cant be too valuable since everyone can get one. Not on my priority list.

3. The packs are ok, but to pay 30$ for packs and some EAs everyone has ain't worth it.

4. A carrying case? I'll take my bookbag thank you

Have you seen them in person? And the box can still hold your PCQ tins.

The box and tins are just really nice looking... but I wouldn't recommend taking them to tourneys as they will get jacked pretty quick.

And that's why they are marketed toward the masses and not toward the smaller minority that you are in.

My critique is the Avengers EA's are 1 good and 3 not so good cards. Part of the appeal of buying multiple tins last year were to get 4 Magneto's, 4 Spiderman's, and possibly 4 Wolverine's (if you didn't have the hobby league ones.) Outside of Captain America (not seeing much play) those other 3 Avengers EA's are pretty much junk.

Now 3 of the 4 JLA EA's are a pretty good pick and I'm cool with them. I wonder how the 4 drop Wonder Woman EA compares to the art on the regular version.

Legendary: I'm not complaining they exist, I'm just saying, not for me, I don't have 60$ to spend on 2 sets of these, I don't like spending unless I see fit.

i prefer spend 60 in a box...

I like the tins...and the box to hold em...seems like a deal to me
