As w/ PCNY I have a phone link to the team between rounds, so I will attempt to compete w/ metagame for speed purposes - quality will of course be much less ;) (let's hope they have something better set up to post with than for 10k gencon UK, poor tim).
If there's any info on anyone's standings or something you would like to know, I'll see what I can do.
I can tell you that of FTN members playing the team deck that we decided on (teched up common enemy), all won first round (Dave, Kim, Dalton, Peter). Jason and Chuck, also with our CE, are unknown at this point. Milton and Steve, playing the deck they should know better than to play (TNB) both lost. Chris won with a hyper rush squad supreme deck that he and Jason developed. And Spears is with our Common enemy too; I don't know how he did yet.
Anton Zeilinger should get that teleporter thing working faster (and maybe covering stuff bigger than particles of light). I was actually done w/ my interview on england time before the PC started in California. Roll on Atlanta I guess.
Btw, good news on silver age. That makes us all Happy People (tm).
EDIT: Spears is playing the CE deck too, for the record.
THE FEATURE EA CARD IS BOLIVER TRASK. A case perhaps of the head not speaking to the hand ;)
FTN has two players qualified for day 2 currently, Mike Dalton on 7-0 and Dave Spears (who we call Lulu) on 6-1. That means we lost the hold on spots 1 and 2 on the standings I think but I'm sure they will fix that by sunday.
Kim Caton and Jason Dawson are one win off day 2, both being 5-2.
Chris Price is 4-3, holding steady, and Dave Leader, Peter Sundholm, Milton Figueroa, Steve Horowitz and Chuck Bell need to start winning some more games as they are 3-4. In the case of Milton and Steve this is understandable though, as they ran TNB. Some of those guys will win out their last 3 games though - Chuck in particular is a comeback beast.
The only other FTN member, Alex Tennet, is currently undefeated as well. Beatings.
