Agree. If they had stayed on CS, they would have made it.
It's not a big deal really that there are no avengers decks; a PC top 8 is not representative of the best constructed decks, that would be what day 1 is for. A PC top 8 is supposed to be about the best players in both formats.
For example at the very first PC Indy I went 6-1 on day 1 (with a very narrow loss), but 3-3 on day 2. Didn't get the top 8 spot, didn't deserve the top 8 spot with that draft performance. It wasn't quite the rollercoaster 10-0, 0-9 performance of the poor guy this weekend, but that's probably an even better example of what the top 8 is for.
Anyway, I just think it's important not to lose sight of the fact that while great decks come and go, great players remain the most important factor (and you have a three-time PC top 8'er (Mike), a 2x 10k winner & 2x PC top 8'er (Hans), a two-time PC top 8'er (Dave) and 2x 10k winner/1x PC top 8'er (Dean) playing tomorrow to prove that fact).

I know that. When my friend netdecks I always tell him look at the top 8 for Day 1. I just mean it's a change from 6 Curve Sentinels, 1 New School, and 1 Xavier's Dream.
I just find it funny that everyone is saying CS is dead...you just keep thinking that and i'll watch the look on your face when i flame+anarchy all your little guys

Totally agree. It's just that Avengers are in a better condition to face CS, that doesn't mean CS is dead.
