I know we all pretty much figured that the next Marvel set after Infinite Crisis will feature Galactus, but exactly how will he be featured?
In the end of Dave Humphery's article at Metagame, in which he discusses the new Silver Age format, it also announces which formats will be featured at which events. So, did anyone else notice that it went a little like this:
Quote
#7 Atlanta March 2006 Marvel Modern Age (MAV, MXM) Constructed
DJL Drafts
#8 San Francisco June 2006 Silver Age (MSM thru DCR) Constructed
MXM Drafts
#9 Gen Con Indy Aug 2006 DC Modern Age (DJL, DCR) Constructed
DCR Drafts
#10 Gen Con So Cal Nov 2006 Golden Age (All sets thru MHG ) Constructed MHG Drafts
So according to the set ID numbers MHG can mean nothing other than Marvel's "The Heralds of Galactus." I'm almost also certain that most, if not all of you, have figured this out by now, but I thought I'd point it out to clear it up for anyone who didn't know.
Anyway, what I guess I'm trying to say is that in a presumably high powered cosmic set, I expect to see some of our favorites including Thanos and the Infinite Gems and others. As well as possibly the Shi'ars and the Kree and Skrull. Can anyone say Mar-Vell? And maybe they'll even sneak Captain Universe in there somehow, although I don't know how they'd make a card for him. But hey, there's a lot of history to pull from the Marvel cosmos.
actually.. you can't. biz was saving you the trouble from dealing with mods, who may or may not be tired of people cluttering the wrong forum and may or may not issue warning points.
