Foxfire/Midnight Sons

I was reading the Meatgame coverage from PCLA of Alex Brown playing FoE and A guy playing a child deck. Brown was using Foxfire to wipe Midnight Sons off the board. How is this possible when her text says "non-team up location or non-team up ongoing plot twist"?
