I'm going to a PCQ on the 19th, and this is by far the most troublesome deck I am facing. I am playing a Good guys build, if you must know. I have a list of cards here that I'm already pretty sure do a good job against GLOCK, but I need your help to think of strategies and extra cards I may have missed, as well as help every player know, WHAT KILLS GLOCK?
Betrayal
Finishing Move, mutant massacre
Flamethrower
BWA HA HA HA, FIZZLE,etc.....
Ka-Boom
Foiled
Have A Blast!, War of Attrition
Glock is not really a weenie deck. Even though Dr. Light gets extra characters, his ability does not recruit the characters, ergo political pressure is not that useful.
Gamma Bomb
Mysterium
Identity Crisis
Mageddon
Dark Phoenix
In all honesty, the types of solutions you will be looking for are directly depending on what type of deck you are playing. So if you give us the heads up on that, you will probably have an easier time finding out what is good.
I'm playing Good guys, as my first post says, which is JLA/JLI, and uses Fire, Steel, Hawkman, NTH metal and Teleport Tube for a turn 6 win condition, and I really think Flamethrower is going to be my best option, I can get it with Blue Beetle and Hawkgirl, as well as equip it for free with Steel, and even get it from the KO'ed Pile with Steel, if I say, equip it to sue dibny on turn 2 or something and she gets KO'ed early.
Holy Crap Total Anarchy I never thought of that! I don't know if its a good idea for a good guys build, though.....yeah Null Time Zone is also a good call.
Its just funny cause like a month ago everyone thought Glock was total garbage, and now you see "How do you beat ____?" And it's funny how just playtesting shows what you need to do in a matchup.

LOL Sorry for not playing attention. I was just watching the Leeroy Jenkins video.
I think some number of Finishing Moves are really helpful here. Finishing Move is great because Glock wants board position. By stimying their ability to use Malvolio and Katma properly - or even at all - you can reduce the efficiency of their defense. Total Anarchy is great in a similar vein too. I still feel that Finishing Move is a much better play as you can catch them off-guard should they use recovery.
Betrayal is great but I am extremely wary of it as most modern GLOCk decks run No Evil Shall Escape Our Sight.
