the MoE Shocker can stun the new Haywire by just activating, correct?
you would be paying 0 resource points and an activation. just want to make sure that i am not missing something.

Unless they give Shocker errata that's how it would work.

Yes, that would be correct. You have found Haywire's Achilles heel.

ok, now the real question is can you do it at anytime?
there is no timing restriction, and since you are paying 0 resource points, you dont have to acctually have any to spend.

Edit: WebDev, Haywire's true achilles heel is Hawkeye (4) since you can stun a 2 drop and him

Well, unless they change this rule, I don't think you can do it outside of your recruit step.

I'd have to say even if you are paying 0 resource points you are still paying resource points, so no using his effect outside of the recruit step.

Though there may be a different reading/ruling on this, I would think that you could still only use Shocker during the resource step since paying 0 recource points can only technically be done during the resource step (read: recruit step). True it would seem that since you aren't using any points you can use it whenever, but the ability requires you to pay up to 3 resource points (in which case you would still have to pay zero resource points to us it, and resource points only exists in the resource step...even when you use zero of them)

Well... we can always use Big Barda as an example of "paying 0".

I say Shocker can shock Haywire but only during the Recruit step.

Not sure about that... Barda can use her ability to pay 0, even when you have no endurance to pay. You lose your resources points at the end of your build, so at that point you have none left to pay. If the Barda example holds, he can stun Haywire any time he wants.

The difference is you still have endurance throughout the game... just 0 or negative.

For Resource Points... you only have them during the recruit step.

Oh and I asked Paul Ross (aka the rules law) you can only resource points, including 0 points during the resource step - you cannot use Shocker outside the rescruit.

Don't forget that Reign of Terror also owns Haywire.

Are there decks that are actually going to care if Haywire is stunned or not?
