I'm confused about Wolverine's text, it says he has all team affiliations of characters in play. Does that means it includes your opponent also and does wolverine have the affiliations even though hes in your hand or in your deck?
Because it doesn't say Wolverine has to be in play in order to have the affiliations. Can someone clear this up for me... thank you

Unless a card says otherwise (see Lacuna), its text is only active while in the "in play" zone.

btw... Wolverine (while in play) gets the affiliations of your opponent's guys too.
