If I have Roy Harper, Arsenal (3 drop) on the field, and I team attack with 4 Teen Titans into character (any character), then I play Teen Titans Go! to ready all of my TT's, can I then exhaust all of my characters to pump Roy Harper some more? Then can I KO as many resources as I need to to stun as many characters that my opponent controls as possible? Then, while, all of my characters have been re readied by TTG!, can I swing for a whole a@S load of damage? Ok, now, if I am wrong, please tell me the right way to pull off this combo...my girlfriend says this is an infinate, broken combo or something...I think she just hates to loose...LMK
for the most part it works, but if you play ttgo, then the characters can't cause breakthrough, so no it's not infinite. it is very good at clearing a board though.
but attacking direct isnt causing breakthrough is it? And also, how many times in one turn can you use the effects? How many times in one turn can you exhaust Roy Harper, Arsenal (3 drop) to get the boosts? AND, does Roy Harper get the boost for himself?
well... Teen Titans Go! only readies team attackers (and character that have team attacked that turn)
...so, if you've got a bunch of guys, you can team attack with everyone (except Roy), use TTG!, pump Roy with everyone, shoot the defender, attack the rest of your opponent's guys, and then use Press the Attack on Roy to hit your opponent directly.
how would the damage stack ? if i do that give an example with me having hank hall ,dove and roy with 2 ttg and my opponent with mojo 4drop,solemn grundy 5 drop,and 2 random punks how would i clear the field and attack for alot
If you had Terra and two Press the Attacks in addition to that situation here's an example.
Declare team attack with Terra, Hawk and Dove to Random Punk.
Attack is declared legal, characters exhaust, become attackers and you have priority. You play Teen Titans Go! and pass. Your opponent passes and Terra, Hawk and Dove ready. You exhaust Dove to Roy and pass. Opponent passes and Roy now has 6 attack for the turn. You exhaust Hawk to Roy and pass. Opponent passes and Roy now has 8 attack for the turn. Activate Terra, targetting the Random Punk you're attacking and pass. Your opponent passes and you replace a location and stun the Random Punk. Terra, Hawk and Dove all ready because there is no defender left when the attack resolves (attacks ALWAYS resolve, even when they've been 'negated' by removing the defender or attackers).
Declare a team attack of Hawk, Dove and Terra to Solomon Grundy and pass. Attack is declared legal, your characters exhaust, become attackers and you have priority. You play Teen Titans Go! and pass. Your opponent passes and your attackers ready. You exhaust Dove to Roy and pass. Opponent passes and Roy now has 10 attack for the turn. You exhaust Hawk to Roy and pass. Opponent passes and Roy now has 12 attack for the turn. You exhaust Terra to Roy and pass. Opponent passes and Roy now has 14 attack for the turn. Activate Roy and KO a resource targetting Solomon Grundy, then pass. Your opponent passes and Solomon Grundy stuns. Terra, Hawk and Dove all ready because there is no defender left when the attack resolves.
You exhaust Dove to Roy and pass. Opponent passes and Roy now has 16 attack for the turn. Declare team attack of Terra and Hawk to Random Punk and pass. Attack is declared legal, characters exhaust, become attackers, you have priority. You play Press the Attack targeting Roy Harper and pass. Opponent passes and Roy readies. You activate Roy and KO a resource targetting Mojo and pass. Your opponent passes and stuns Mojo. You pass and your opponent passes. Random Punk stuns and your opponent doesn't get the stun back when the team attack resolves.
You play Press the Attack on Roy Harper and pass. Your opponent passes. Roy readies and you declare attack directly for 16. Your opponents passes, attack is legal, you pass, he passes and they take 16.
That's a total endurence loss of 27 endurence loss. Over half their endurence in one turn.
i recieved the deck yesterday in a trade its a meta with all the goodies im still learning to play with it still its a fun deck just learning all the combos will take some time the new set coming out has some titans i might being replacing with some of the older ones thanks mike for the lesson if there anything else you want to teach im open ears for any help
you attack with everyone on turn 5 to ur opponents 3 or 4 drop(e.g. garth,roy, terra, hawk,dove)
while ur still attacking use ttg! to ready everyone then exhaust everyone to roy except roy and use his effect to ko a resource u dont need(e.g. uss argus, character, flipped up plot twist) to roy and stun ur oponents 3,4, or 5 then u use another ttg! or pay 3 with garth to return one and do this agian to stun a 3,4, or 5 u then ttg!or press the attack something like ur garth and stun ur opponenets low drops
now as for how titans wins- they stun there opponents boards with roy, and team attacking. then they play starfire to sun something and attack with a garth with beatdowns and pay 3 to return one of them. another way to win is clear ur opponents board say with roy like before then ttg! and removed from continuity out everything u just stunned
Ok, earlier in the thread, it was posted that any damage is breakthrough damage...so then why would my opponent take "16"? TTG! says that there is no breakthrough damage. Also, can Roy Harper, Arsenal exhaust and use his effect on himself? Then, use Press the Attack and ready? LMK...Thanks

TTG stops breakthrough only on the team attackers. So, as long as Roy Harper (or whoever) isn't team attacking when you play TTG, he can do breakthrough.

acctually TTG only prevents breakthrough on character you ready with it. so if you team attack all of your characters play TTG, ready everyone but Roy, Press Roy and shoot, Roy can still cause breakthrough.
