i was just wondering how many ppl honestly think mobilize is anywhere near as good as eome and who thinks mobilize alone will prevent the metagame from being eome decks?

Meh, it's the irony that a number of decks will play both :).

You are correct about it being a little worse; but its existence will make things interesting. And let's be honest... Enemy is only going to be legal for one more Silver Age.

Be interesting to see if once enemy rotates out if single-team decks become more of the "norm". Till then, guarantee whatever I play in Australia has Enemy in it... as to whether it has mobolize, we'll have to see what comes out of the new set.

Still, there are better ways of stating the opinion without sounding like a troll. But based on your standard posts, you get off on the controvorsy of being a troll, so we're kinda used to it.

Has anyone SAID that mobilize is 'as good as' EOME? I'm not sure about that.

However, it's an ALTERNATIVE to EOME. It gives players the OPTION of making their mono deck more consistent.

Will it make it so that the metagame shifts towards mono-team? Not necessarily. That requires much more than a single card.

However, from a CASUAL perspective ... if a player wants a deck that can consistently hit their drops, and maybe even has a bit of toolbox [i.e. Common Enemy would often look for their choice of 5/7/8 drop depending on what the match-up was].

Injustice Gang, for example, has some 5-drop 'toolbox' options within it's own team. One 5-drop as Location hate, one 5-drop as Bastion/other discard effect hate, and the 'main' 5-drop which doubles as a 6 drop.

Enemy is a default strategy in part because there aren't any other options. Mobilize gives decks like Kree Press [which can still have some offteam, as Nenora teams up the board for Mobilize, which can leave room for Enemy] another tutor. Titans don't have to rely on Optitron later in the game to hit characters. Heck, a Crisis deck top 8'd ... with Crisis up Mobilize is BETTER than Enemy.

Mobilize is going to be a money rare because:

(A) There are ways to 'abuse' it in a manner similar to Enemy ... it's at least in the same area as Straight to the Grave

(B) Casual players and even competitive players, who wish to go with mono-team builds [or who intend to team up] will get a powerful on team tutor

Is it better than Enemy? No.

However, name a single card that is.

Saying a card is not better than Enemy is saying nothing at all.

And saying nothing at all, in the hopes of inciting heated responses, is still trolling.

Is Emeny the best card ? YES

Does it help the play the way VS was orginally designed? NO

Does it let a player chose 10 random characters based on their ablity? YES

Is it the manadoratory card to put in every top 8 deck? Yes

Is Mobilize as good as Enemy? No

Is designed to play more game based decks? YES

Will it be in top 8 decks? YES

Will top 8 decks run 4 copies? NO

Will you see more Midnight Sons abuse decks? YES

Overall is this best option to Enemy? YES

Will Mobilize be the number 2 card in VS? YES

Does everyone agreed with the above statements? NO

Does it matter? NO

Here are my thoughts anyway. Even when Enemy was released at the Sneak, it was not valued nearly as highly as Mobilize will be today. We knew it would be good, but not THAT good. In less than two and a half hours, we will be opening packs with the hottest rare in the history of Sneak Preview tournaments.

Mobilize is as good as Enemy of My Enemy. If you put the abbrievations together, it sounds like MEoME. Coincidence? I think not.
