Anyone know when ude is going to put up the 2007 schedules for 50k's and PC's ?

Formats (which sets/collections) and dates would be sweet. Traveling plans/tickets/costs/time off/etc need to be arranged for many players for the first 3 months of the year very soon.

Email UDE and ask them ..no harm in booking in advanced right ? ;)

it would be nice if this and their other announcemnts would happen sooner then later, there is a rumored 50k in chicago on febuary 10th, but i have not much weight to this rumor, though it would be nice to know if its true or not so to plan for said event and know the format maybe?

HIGHLY DOUBTFUL there is a $50K in a month in Chicago, unless I'm behind on the rumor mill. There are the two mega PCQ's Pastimes is running at the end of February in St. Louis in conjunction with the Shonen Jump but no rumors of a 50K.

Haven't we been over this already? UDE isn't going to announce these until it's too late to buy cheap plane tickets, because they want everyone to play WOW instead....no wait, there aren't any real WoW tournaments soon either....maybe UDE wants everyone to play Magic?

Though it also makes you wonder what the crap is going on at upper deck, you have

1. The overal lack of prize kits for stores, i know mine cant be the only one? Was there a prize kit for Heralds?

2. lack of information on upcoming events, formats, this revolutionary new hobby league and city championships.

what i really am going to hate that if the upcoming anouncements arent freaking awesome, i dont know where this game will be in a year, maybe next to my dbz cards.

One thing that is sure to help is to overreact.

The year is 4 days old and there are a ton of OP changes that are going into effect in '07 - you might want to give them a couple weeks or something. But I understand if that's asking too much.

It's not asking very much at all. It doesn't take a whole lot of time to post a schedule for things that are set in stone, even if everything isn't at this point.

For example, last week I had to pick a weekend in February to schedule some family travel. I usually try to plan stuff around tournaments, but nothing was announced, so I just picked a weekend at random, and decided on Feb 10-11. Then a few days ago, I learned that the Marvel Team-Up sneak preview is that weekend, which upsets me, because sneaks are my favorite events. It's obviously not the end of the world to miss a sneak, but for a game that is floundering like Vs, you would think that they wouldn't want to disillusion any more customers.

Plus, PTOs were apparently sent the 50K dates a while ago, which makes the lack of schedule announcements even more frustrating. As of now, I'm planning February and March around Spoils tournaments, since those have actually been announced. Maybe by April I'll be able to play Vs again. :(

Um seriously peaple UDE hasn't even updated its front page past Infinite Crisis, how do you expect them to post a schedule.

I been bumpin' for more general exposure for the game, but at the rate they're moving the first solid air for Vs. may be six months after all licensing expires.

I'm a huge fan of this game but the blatant mismanagement of the games promotional structure, lack of broad advertising strategies, poor exploitation of free advertising resources made available by the games iconic licenses and tournament structure, and the total disregard of the importance in this day and age of keeping one's web site up to date all point to a company who may be better at producing games then selling them. Hopefully the quality of a product like Vs. and the stregnth in the community of those who have already been exposed will sustain this great game for several years to come.

I must say that I agree with all of you guys here!! Man there is no way all of this nonsense can be good for them!! It is going to be interesting to see what the rest of this year will bring and not to mention the future set that will be released.
In the long run UDE is only hurting themselves, but now it is starting to effect us all. We could all ban together and make one solid voice that we can make them here. But that is just my thought......
