The two teams do have a natural synergy, but you should think about what your deck's plan is and what it's ideal curve is. Especially when I'm building Checkmate/x decks, my character curves are very streamlined b/c once Ahmed hits the board, you should never miss a drop again. Ahmed is basically the mulligan condition of any deck that plays him, so you probably want the maximum # of Brother I Satellites, Though obviously once you have him and are teamed up The Great Refuge is infinitely better. I like having a backup drop to your ideal on the opposing team in case, for whatever reason, you can only draw/use one tutor or the other, but aside from that, after you hit your 4 drop, you realistically don't need more than 2-3 of any higher drops b/c of your consistency.
All of the plot twists in your deck are good cards individually, but, again, thinking about your deck's overall strategy is important. The Royal Guard is good if Quicksilver 2 is your plan, The Outside World is good if you're playing more of a late game/stall deck. Slobberin' Time and Exploiting the Flaw both suggest very aggressive strategies and Exploiting really wants you to hit your 1 and/or 2 drop and for them to be concealed so they're still around on turn 4/5 when you're swinging w/ Alan Scott or Alaris or what have you.
ksetool is right.. figure out what you want to do.. you could always make this into a pseudo quickfate.. also you can toolbox some plots and locations because of ahmed and attilan (why aren't you playing attilan?)
